Thank you Penny for reminding me that there is cause for hope, even in the presence of such desperation and that I can be an agent of that hope. In remaining sequestered it is all too easy to look away from the plight of my neighbors and the incredible constancy of the injustice and fear so many of them live with day in and day out. Thank you for a message that tells me to look inward in examination of my own complicity and upward to seek the face of God.
