St. Paul’s Cathedral? There’s an App for that!

For those of you who are iPhone or iPod Touch users (or if you’re reading this while camping out in front of your local Apple Store awaiting the release of the iPad), you’ll definitely want to check out our Cathedral App. St. Paul’s Cathedral is the first Episcopal Church in the country to have an App and one of only a few dozen churches nationwide.

The App is FREE and is available for download on the iTunes store here. Of course for most of you, you’ll want to just search the App store from your iPhone for “St Paul’s” or “St Paul’s Cathedral” and it comes right up.

This is our initial release and it allows users to check upcoming events from the e-bulletin, listen or watch sermons or forums (you need to hit it like 4 or 5 times for the sermon or forum to load, but it will), read THIS BLOG, check our Twitter or Facebook posts – even see the latest from our Flikr photo stream.

In future updates we are hoping to add the Daily Office, news from the Episcopal Church, a concert page, and more. If you have ideas or suggestions, let me know: harrisc@stpaulcathedral.org. We are always looking for contributors to our Facebook and Twitter feeds. If you are a social networker and want to join the communications team let me know.

Don’t forget to leave us a 5 star rating!!! :-)
